ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 Winner was decided on 19th November 2023 when the two best teams of the tournament faced each other in Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad (India). Australia became the new World Cup 2023 winner by defeating India in the final match. In the final match, India played first and scored 240 runs, after that Australia chased the target by in 43 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Match Summary
Jose Mourinho’s side had been held to a frustrating goalless stalemate by West Brom at the weekend, and their 19-match unbeaten streak in the Premier League was under threat when Phil Jagielka opened the scoring midway through the first half.
Both Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba hit the woodwork for the hosts, who pressed for the equaliser and it eventually came deep into stoppage time when Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored from the penalty spot after Ashley Williams had been sent off for handling inside the area.

United welcomed back Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera, but they struggled to get going against the Toffees, who were looking comfortable away from home.
The hosts did create the first chance of the game after 12 minutes, though, when Carrick slipped the ball to Lingard, who took a touch before firing narrowly wide of the right post from 20 yards out.
David De Gea was called into action for the first time on 21 minutes as he blocked an angled drive from Kevin Mirallas on the right after the Belgian had been played in by Gareth Barry.
The visitors took the lead moments later when Romelu Lukaku headed a corner towards the back post, where Jagielka scored through the legs of De Gea with an improvised finish over his shoulder.
Lukaku then wasted a good opportunity as Ronald Koeman’s men broke forward in the 26th minute, the Belgian striker dragging his shot wide of the right post from the edge of the box with Mirallas in space on the right.
Joel Robles had to be alert to keep out Daley Blind’s free-kick at his near post four minutes later and Lingard struck the crossbar on the follow-up.
Robels then pulled off a magnificent save to prevent the hosts from equalising as he dived to his right to tip Herrera’s left-footed shot around the left post on 39 minutes.
It was Paul Pogba’s turn to be denied by the woodwork 10 minutes into the second half as he directed a header against the crossbar from Ashley Young’s free-kick.
The Red Devils continued to push for the equaliser and Marouane Fellaini poked the ball wide on the turn after bringing a high ball down inside the area on 62 minutes.
Ibrahimovic did have the ball in the back of the net in the 71st minute when he headed home Herrera’s cross from the right, but the Swede was marginally offside and the goal was disallowed.
Fellaini was presented with another chance two minutes later after Ibrahimovic headed a high ball into his path, but the Belgian midfielder hooked his shot over the target.
Just when it seemed like United’s long unbeaten run would come to an end, they won a penalty in stoppage time when Williams blocked Luke Shaw’s shot with his arm.
The Welsh defender received a straight red card and Ibrahimovic stepped up to send Robles the wrong way and snatch a share of the spoils.
